The Audiolab 8200 CD Player marks a new generation of digital products using the long awaited Sabre 32 Bit DAC from ESS Technology for D-to-A conversion. The Sabre DAC is the cornerstone of this design allowing greater flexibility, the 8200CD’s architecture is best described as a “DAC + CD” rather than just a CD player. The provision of digital inputs – optical, coaxial and USB – means the 8200CD can be used to deliver top-quality sound from all kinds of digital sources, including audio files from computers and other media devices.
