B&W 600 SeriesB&W’s 600 Series is probably one of the most successful ranges of loudspeakers that B&W have produced.
Over the years the 600 series has undergone many improvements since the launch of the original DM600 range.
The current 600 series started life on a blank sheet of paper and not as an upgrade on the previous range.
Starting the design of the 600 series from scratch has allowed B&w to included their latest technological advances into this new series without the restrictions that a “mark 2” upgrade would involve.
The enclosures are deeper, more rigid and inert. All new drive units both bass/mid-range and high frequency units, improved higher grade crossoversare just a few of the improvements that have been made for the 600 series. The range includes the 686 and 685 standmount/bookshelf models, 684 and 683 floorstanders.
The range also includes two centre speakers and 3 subwoofers for customers requiring a full B&W A/V loudspeakers system.
