Monitor Audio Bronze R Series


The Bronze R Series of loudspeakers replaces Monitor Audio's Bronze series. This new range of loudspeakers is a re working of their award winning Bronze Series of loudspeakers. The range has been fine tuned and optimised to re-define the meaning of entry level. The new Bronze Reference Series (Bronze R) has been equipped to compete against many of it's more expensive rivals. Capable of excellent audio resolution in both two channel and multi channel modes the New Bronze R series sets a new benchmark in style and performance at the entry-level end of the loudspeaker market. The speakers all have new C-CAM tweeters, MMP mid range and bass drivers, audiophile grade components in their crossovers, improved cabinet construction and a range of vinyl finishes to the highest standards, all contribute to making the Bronze R series an affordable entry level range of loudspeakers.

Technology

C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) is an innovative alloy material that exhibits ideal mechanical properties for use in high performance loudspeaker cones and diaphrams. C-CAM is extreamly rigid, yet remains light enough to yield a high overall efficiency, making it ideal for high frequency drivers.

MMP II (Metal Matrix Polymer) cone material uses a high pressure injection moulding process to achieve different thickness at critical points in the cone geometry. MMP II, providesa better stiffness and consistency and tighter production tolerances resulting in superior sonic performance.
