The Silver RX Series of loudspeakers sits between the Bronze R and Gold Signature series of loudspeakers and is their stunning new mid-market speaker range.
The new range is classically configured and crafted using Monitor Audios finest proven technologies, offering a union of chic contemporary design and realistic audio that will satisfy and endure.
Available in a choice of high quality real wood veneers and high-gloss lacquer finishes the new RX series offers a combination of class leading technologies and materials refined for their flagship Platinum and Gold series of loudspeakers.
There are seven new designs in the RX series, which combine in matching stereo and multi-channel systems to provide a dynamic audio accuracy, impeccable standards of build quality and engineering at a price beyond equal within it’s class.
The new RX Series benefits from the technologies developed for the Gold Signature Series of products The new C-CAM gold dome tweeter now extends the high frequency performance beyond 35kHz, extending the performance potential for current and future HD Audio content.
The RX Bass and Mid-Range drivers have benefitted from the RST (Rigid Surface Technology) developed for the Gold Reference Series - is now incorporated in the Silver RX series. The super stiff dimpled drivers are now more resistant to break-up under high drive conditions and so produce a wider, purer frequency response. Coupled with the non-magnetic cast polymer vented chassis for improved airflow and cooling the result is a speaker that will play louder and cleaner.
The move to a Single Bolt-Through Driver design has a dual effect of improving cabinet rigidity while further reducing cabinet vibrations at the cabinet/driver interface. This has resulted in a more fluid communication of the mid-range frequencies and with the absence of front driver fixings a cleaner more refined overall appearance further improved by the use of hidden magnetic fixings for the front grills. The inclusion of the High Velocity Reflex Port from the Flagship Gold Signature series results in a more efficient port design for a faster more dynamic bass response.
