After many years Anthony has returned one of the Hi-Fi worlds most classic amplifiers to the Musical Fidelity range. The all new A1 amplifier returns to the range with many major improvements over its predecessor, however it still retains the original styling and enclosure of one of Musical Fidelity’s most successful products.
The A1 amplifier is joined by a matching CD player, the A1 CD Pro. This new CD player uses the latest Philips CD Pro mechanism. Another new addition to the A1 range is the FPB preamplifier, a two box preamplifier (PSU and Control unit). The A1 FPB preamplifier makes a fine matching preamplifier for the K550 and K750 Superchargers

The A1 CD player uses the best CD transport available which has the most reliable and consistent data stream of any. The result is that the DAC is operating from the maximum amount of data which allows it to perform virtually perfectly. The A1 CD player has a top loading mechanism similar to the A1008 CD player which also features the latest Philips Pro mechanism.
