Have you noticed since changing to a slim flatscreen LCD or Plasma television, that not only has the set got thinner, but the sound has gone the same way?
Unfortunately one of the compromises of the modern slim screen technology is the inability to use loudspeakers of a reasonable size. There are 2 options available to resolve this situation.
Solution 1 is to go for a full blown Home cinema system of AV Receiver, loudspeakers and a sub woofer, the sound is great but you end up with extra equipment and lots of wires to hide.
Enter Solution 2, the Q Acoustics Q-TV2!
An affordable, discreet, 2.1 channel, self contained “plug and play” 100 watt amplified speaker system. Superb sound reproduction with none of the disadvantages of Solution 1.

The Q-TV2 will transform the way you enjoy your TV. Q-TV2 delivers dynamic, room filling stereo surround with real bass. The on board 100 watt amplifier drives eight QAcoustics advanced technology loudspeakers, with an integrated vibration free ultra-slim subwoofer.
Designed to fit screen sizes from 30” to 42” the Q-TV2 becomes the heart of a real hi-fi system. Play CD’s on your DVD player and hear full stereo sound, listen to digital radio stations from your TV, games can be played with fantastic sound and not to forget your mp3 players or iPod which can also be played through the Q-TV2. For larger sets, 42" up to 50" you will need the new Q-TV2X which has the same features and specification as the Q-TV2.
The easiest way to connect the Q-TV2 to your television is via the televisions analogue or optical output. Connect your source equipment, DVD player, SKY box, games machine etc directly to your television and control the Q-TV2 by the supplied remote.
The standard TV Mount is included in the price, this fits directly to the back of the TV which sits on its own table stand. If required the Q-TV2 can be wall mounted using either a flush wall mount or a cantilever bracket.
