QUAD CLASSIC Valve Series
Vacuum Tube Amplifier Systems

Quad products have always been some of the finest audio products in the world.
In 1936, Peter Walker started producing public address systems, few could predict that many of his products would have the longevity and the esteem with which they would be held. In the 1950’s, Peter Walker and Gilbert Briggs (founder of Wharfedale), embarked on a series of famous concerts, demonstrating that real high-fidelity music reproduction should be virtually indistinguishable from a live performance. They toured as far as the United States and demonstrated in venues as diverse as Carnegie Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. Audiences were truly amazed in the similarity that the Quad amplifiers were able to reproduce relative to the live performance.
The ancestry of Peter Walker’s original Quad valve amplifiers lives on today in Quad’s Classic Series of Vacuum Tube Amplifiers.
