Audio have been manufacturing loudspeakers since 1972 and are renowned
for their extensive use of metal driver technology. Not long after
the company was founded MA produced their first metal domed tweeter
by combining an aluminium and magnesium alloy with Ferrofluid. This
was the start of MA's C-CAMTM technolgy
which gave a significantly smoother and more musical response than
the conventional single metal domed tweeters of that time. Since
then the company has built upon this technology introducing a whole
new range of metal domed tweeters culminating in their famous "Gold" tweeter
found in the Gold Reference Range. Not only are Monitor Audio reconised
for their expertise in drive unit design and manufacture, the standard
of construction and finish of their cabinets is regarded as a benchmark
by many other manufacturers.
Currently Monitor Audio offer three distinct range of products, Bronze, Silver and Gold. At Dooleys of Macclesfield we offer our customers a selection of products from their Bronze, New RS Silver and Gold Reference ranges.
