The A5.5 Tube Hybrid CD player replaces the very successful A5 CD player. It uses the very latest up to the minute DAC, upsamplimg and filter technology, which gives it one of the best technical performances regardless of price. Linearity is maintained at better than 0.1dB all the way down to -96dB. Jitter is a very low 135pps, a lot of test equipment when measured give a very similar figure, implying that the A5.5 CD player is virtually Jitter free. Like the two previous models that the A5 replaces, it is a true 24-bit, 192k upsampling player. This gives huge improvements in noise ratio, linearity and most importantly musical accuracy.
