Musical Fidelity’s founder Anthony Michaelson is an accomplished clarinetist with several successful recordings to his credit. Anthony started producing Musical Fidelity products over 29 years ago on his kitchen table. Over the last 29 years the business has grown to be one of the most innovative, successful and respected manufacturers in the industry.
2009 sees Anthony move Musical Fidelity into a new era. Production has been brought back to the UK for the Anthony Michaelson Signature Series (AMS), with the launch of the limited edition TITAN stereo power amplifier, only 50 units will be produced. The new PRIMO all valve zero feedback design preamplifier has been launched (March 2009) to partner the TITAN and the AMS50 stereo power amplifier launched in June 2009. The later half of the Summer has seen the launch of a Pure A Class Integrated Amplifier the AMS 35i and Anthony’s flagship CD Player, the AMS CD. These new products will form the basis of Musical Fidelity’s continued development in the high-end of music reproduction. Quietly during the summer of 2009 Musical Fidelity launched their new mid-range series - M6 Integrated Amplifier and M6 CD Player/DAC, followed by the matching M6 preamplifier/power amplifier in February 2010. All the new amplifiers in the Musical Fidelity range are based around their flagship TITAN power amplifier layout.
2010 will see the launch of the entry level M3 series, an integrated amplifier and matching CD player expected prices are £1000 per unit, and the AMS 100 series stereo pure class A power amplifier (twice the power, twice the size and twice the weight of the AMS 50! - we can’t wait to hear it).
