Unison
Research have built their reputation on producing some of the finest
looking and sounding single ended triode (SET) and single ended pentode
(SEP) valve amplifiers. Located in Italy their products combine the
distinctive finish of natural wood with stainless steel and charcoal
grey cases. Unison Research have up-dated their range with several
new models to replace the Simply 2, 4and 845 SET designs. The new
model line up consists of the S2 (EL34's), S6 (EL34's), S8 (845's)and
the KT88 valved S2K integrated amplifiers. The top of their valve
range is still the Mystery One/Two valve preamplifier and the SMART
845 mono block power amplifiers. Over the last 2 years Unison Research
have also launched the SR1 Hybrid integrated amplifier, using a triode
input stage coupled to a powerful MOSFET output stage. And in September
2001, Unison Research also launched the UNICO range of amplification
and CD player, built with the same attention to detail and style
